Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which appointments may be cancelled, rescheduled, or forfeited at Skin Ethos (A.C.N. 676 748 959 Pty Ltd).
1. Notice Period
We require a minimum of 36 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or changes made within this period may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
2. Consultations, Deposits, and Prepayments
Consultations are complimentary and provided by appointment only. If you cancel or reschedule a consultation within 36 hours, or fail to attend without notice, Skin Ethos may, at its discretion, restrict online bookings and/or decline future complimentary consultation bookings. In some cases, we may require prepayment or a deposit to secure future appointments.
3. No-Shows
A “no-show” occurs when a client does not attend their scheduled appointment without prior notice. In the event of a no-show for a prepaid service, the deposit portion will be forfeited and the remaining balance may be credited or refunded at Skin Ethos’ discretion.
No-shows for complimentary consultations may result in restrictions on future bookings, including the inability to book complimentary consultations.
Clients who repeatedly fail to attend appointments may be required to make full payment at the time of booking for any future services. This condition may be applied at Skin Ethos’ discretion.
For clients on prepaid treatment courses or packages, a missed session without the required 36 hours’ notice will be treated as a forfeited session in accordance with our cancellation terms.
4. Late Arrivals
Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to avoid impacting subsequent bookings. If your lateness prevents your treatment from being completed, your deposit will be forfeited. Where scheduling allows, treatment completion will be at the clinician’s discretion.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen events may arise. In cases of illness, emergency, or unavoidable circumstances, Skin Ethos may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial credit, reschedule, or waive the forfeiture. Proof of circumstance may be requested.
6. How to Cancel or Reschedule
Cancellations and rescheduling requests can be made through your Phorest account, by phone, SMS, or email. Requests are confirmed only once acknowledged by a Skin Ethos team member.
